Have you ever struggled to keep your online students motivated? If so, you're not alone. It can be tough to keep students engaged in an online learning environment. But one way to combat this issue is by giving students options for how they participate in discussion boards.
When students have choices, they feel more empowered and are more likely to be engaged in the learning process. Giving students options also allows you to cater to different learning styles. Some students may prefer to write out their thoughts, while others may prefer to record a video response. By providing options, you're giving all students a chance to shine.
Of course, there are challenges that come with giving students options. You'll need to put extra thought into crafting discussion. But don't worry, I'll walk you through each of the steps of developing discussion board options and share lots of examples from my own online classes in this Masterclass.
You will retain Lifetime Access to this Masterclass along with the Slide Deck.
